I capture honest moments and portraits for advertising, editorial, and corporate clients nationwide. My passion as a photographer is to explore the theme of human connection and make pictures that show authentic situations and genuine emotion. I often partner with ad agencies and in-house creative teams on “real people” storytelling projects to create image libraries for use across multiple print and digital platforms. One of my strengths is my ability to quickly forge a connection with my subjects and maintain a working atmosphere of respect, trust, creativity, and fun. Many of my projects take place on film sets, where I must work quickly and in collaboration within large and fast moving productions. Other times, I am flying solo and rely on my ability to translate the story or theme of the assignment into an effective visual with what is in front of me (my favorite challenge.) Regardless of scale or budget, I view every assignment as an opportunity to shed a little light on the human condition and create compelling, useful images for my clients.
After starting my career in Chicago in 2000, I moved to Sarasota, Florida in 2013 where I continue to shoot locally and travel nationally for assignments.
