Jackson in Place - A Father and Son Covid Project
When Covid hit in 2020, we were living in Sarasota Florida. My son, Jackson, was nine and, like everyone else, we were dealing with the sudden absence of work, school, and any semblance of normality.
I asked Jackson if he's be willing to do a photo a day with me for a while and he agreed. This project not only gave me a chance to keep practicing photography and experimenting, but also an opportunity to
engage with my son and provide some kind of structure and creative distraction for both of us. I'll always treasure the photos from a very strange time in our lives.
